But in Chicago, we look out for each other. Solidarity runs deep here: we have been the crucible of the labor movement since 1886. We know immigrants make this country what it is and we know how to organize.

In Chicago, public roads are used to store private vehicles en masse—sometimes even for free. And yet my local bike lane has oil stains from the cars that regularly use it as overflow parking.
This “municipal-adjacent” sign is a handy reminder to drivers to keep their cars out of our traffic lanes—or start paying for the privlege.

Church vs State
In 2025 the state of Texas passed into law a requirement that all public classrooms—from kindergarten to state-funded universities—display a poster-sized print of the Ten Commandments.
This poster faithfully displays the Commandments, while also teaching the essence of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution—the separation of church and state. U.S. citizens have individual liberty to worship (or to not worship) however they choose without government intervention—hence the poster cannot celebrate both religion and nation at the same time.
A similar law in Louisiana was struck down in November 2024, but the new right wing administration’s Christian-nationalist agenda continues to keep this poster relevant. Therefore I am personally donating prints (Risograph printed on 11x17 paper) in an open edition to meet the needs of any US educator.
Free prints are available now, free downloads will be available soon. Prints are also available for purchase to help support the donation campaign.
